Your unique Refer & Earn code is valid for one year from the date of your first Bookyboo order. If your first Bookyboo order was on 1^st Jan 2016 the code will expire on 31^st Dec 2016. If you order a second book using or not using the unique code, no new Refer & Earn code will be issued.

The validity of your unique Refer & Earn code is linked only to the first order date and there will be no extension on this.

You will get an update on your Genie Dollars via e-mail every time your unique Refer & Earn code is used. You need to collect 6 Genie Dollars in your account to redeem a free Bookyboo. Once you have the 6 Genie Dollars in your account, this will automatically appear as a payment option when you review your cart while shopping. The 6 Genie Dollars must be redeemed within three months of accumulating the sixth Genie point. After 3 months of the 6 Genie Dollars being available for redemption, if unused the Genie Dollars will expire.

Bookyboo Refer and Earn - Referral Program Terms & Conditions

 

The Bookyboo Referral Program allows Bookyboo customer (who have purchased minimum one Bookyboo book) to earn credit points, referred to as “Genie Dollars”, towards future purchase by referring friends to Bookyboo.

 

To participate, Bookyboo Users must agree to these terms, which become part of the Bookyboo Terms of Service. Capitalized terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the Bookyboo Terms of Service.

How to generate your Referral Code

 

A unique referral code is automatically generated when a user makes the first purchase at Bookyboo. The code is displayed on the thank you page and is made available to the user in his/her account.

 

How long is the Referral code valid

 

The referral code is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and will automatically expire after that.

 

Does the validity extend if a user makes a subsequent purchase?

 

NO, the referral code is linked to the first purchase only. Example if a user purchases his first book on 1^st January 2017 his referral code expires on the 31^st December 2017. If he makes another purchase on 31^st July 2017 his referral code still expires on 31^st December as it is linked to the first purchase only. In 2018 when s/he purchases another book s/he gets a new referral code.

 

How to Earn Referral Genie Dollars

 

Bookyboo Users can earn Genie Dollars towards future Bookyboo books if: (i) a referred friend uses their unique referral code to make a valid Bookyboo purchase that complies with our Terms of Service; (ii) the user uses his own code to make a purchase.

 

The referring Bookyboo User will be credited with one Genie dollar for every successful purchase.

 

How much discount does the referred friend get

 

The standard discount is 15% but may vary in some cases if the referred friend signed up as part of a special promotion. User’s friend who uses the referral code to make a purchase gets standard discount on the book price. The discount does not apply to any add-ons or upgrades including but not limited to gift wrap and hard cover. Varying discount amounts and additional terms will be shown in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials.

 

 

Can the user use his own referral code?

 

Yes, the user is allowed to use his own referral code to get 15% discount on the book only.

 

Redeeming Genie Dollars

 

Genie Dollars will automatically appear as a payment option on the checkout page once the user has six genie dollars in his account. The free book must be claimed within three months from the date user is entitled for a free book. After three months, the free book and its associated Genie Dollars will expire. Genie Dollars may not be combined with any additional coupons. Genie Dollars may not be transferred or exchanged for any cash or money.

 

Genie Dollars may not be earned by creating multiple Bookyboo Accounts. Genie Dollars accrued in multiple Bookyboo accounts may not be combined into one Bookyboo account.

 

Sharing Referral Links

 

Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these discounts. Referral links should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal friends (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia).

 

Referred Friends

 

Referred friends that have purchased a book using a valid referral code will also receive their own referral code to share with their friends and families.

 

Multiple Referrals

 

A referred friend may only use one referral coupon. If a referred friend receives referral coupons from multiple Bookyboo Users, only the corresponding Bookyboo User of the referral coupon used by the referred friend will receive a Genie Dollar.

 

Severability

 

If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

 

Termination and Change

 

Bookyboo may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a user’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason.

 

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Genie Dollars if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive or fraudulent. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals as deemed fair and appropriate. We reserve the right to modify the standard discount or the number of Genie dollars required to redeem the free book at any point in time.

 

Updates to the Terms

 

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Bookyboo.com website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Referral Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
